You deserve to feel confident in every release.
Readers have many choices when it comes to their next read. A lack of editing can turn a potential fan into a disappointed customer.
Don’t let your hard work get lost inside plot holes, typos, and grammatical errors.

“Too many typos!”

“I loved the story, but then the ending ruined it.”
As an author myself, I understand the frustration of trying to find an editor you can rely on.
I care about your story, and I want to help you make it the best it can be.
I have a bachelor's degree in English from Indiana University and have completed two Gale Education courses—Romance Writing and The Keys to Effective Editing—as well as Shani Raja's Punctuation Mastery course.
I've put years of self-study into learning what makes a good story and what sells in the romance market, and I've consumed hundreds of romance novels and erotica stories as a yearslong fan of the genres.
I've always loved the English language and have a natural talent for structuring sentences and paragraphs. As a kid, I used to read the dictionary and compete in spelling competitions, and I've refined my innate gifts with decades of writing and learning.
Though high-quality editing doesn’t guarantee publishing success, it is required for a book to succeed. Many of my clients have reached best-seller status, and a few have gone on to sign six- or seven-figure traditional publishing deals.
I provide a free sample edit of up to 1,500 words so you can get a feel for my editing style, and I can get a feel for your story.
Over email, you and I discuss which level(s) of editing your story needs and then schedule a start date for your service.
I edit your story based on our plan and deliver the edited manuscript.
You incorporate the edits, which leaves you with a polished, market-ready book.
Is your story working?
I will focus on your story’s overall structure—plot, character, setting, etc.—as well as clarity and internal logic. I will provide comments throughout the manuscript and, if needed, at the end of the document offering suggestions for improvement.
Will your grammar, punctuation, or sentence structure pull readers out of your story?
I will edit for grammar, style, and word usage using The Chicago Manual of Style, Merriam-Webster's dictionary, and my own expertise.
Did you miss any typos or grammar issues?
I will edit for surface-level mechanics which may have been missed or introduced in copyediting.
